“Art can never be understood, but can only be seen as a kind of magic, the most profound and mysterious of all human activities”.  — Bill Reid

TIMBER FRAMING

THE LYF SO SHORT, THE CRAFT SO LONG TO LERNE.

— GEOFFREY CHAUCER

For decades, I’ve been curating unique trees, each selected for their story, character, and singularity. When we work with these trees, we aren’t imposing our will upon them, but rather revealing their true nature. Each one carries the scars of wind, lightning, fire, and time—telling a story that mirrors our own resilience and reveals that beauty lies in imperfection.

In that, we’re defining space with meaning and memory. If someone were to sell a home I worked on, I would see it as a failure, as our work is meant to be cherished—valued as a member of the family.

While our approach may be uncommon today, for clients who desire art and a deeper connection with the creator, no one else creates what we do.

Design

We thrive in collaboration—partnering with architects, builders, and clients to create awe inspiring homes.

Build

CREATING A BUILDING FROM TREES IS A BIT LIKE ALCHEMY. INSTEAD OF TURNING BASE METAL TO GOLD, THE ALCHEMIST- CARPENTER HAD TO TURN TREES INTO BEAMS, INTO FRAMES, INTO BUILDINGS.

—RICHARD HARRIS, DISCOVERING TIMBER-FRAMED BUILDINGS

Each project reflects our belief in people and place. We invest in those we work with—and in the land and materials that shape our craft. Rooted in collaboration, our team brings care, precision, and artistry to work that is both innovative and enduring.
